  • I'd be honoured to be called Daniel Girly, would put me in the same group as our Broady <3.

Wish you were still about on PC last night mate, the India vs England thread was hilarious. So much Yuvraj Singh mocking, just basically everyone taking the piss out of the Indians. Was fantastic.
Haha. The bowlers on that day were bowling pie tbh. You'd have been able to smash them around with ease. Crap bowling, short boundaries and a lightening outfield, was awesome. Suffolk lower divisions club cricket is not the most competitive of standards haha. Surrey Club Cricket'll be much higher standard, probably get a few of the Surrey 2nd XI guys playing in the top club cricket division.
Not too far. The Oval which is Surrey's ground is probably my nearest cricket ground, bar Chelmsford. So about an hour and a half away I'd guess. Not sure.
Top score of 24 this season already, came at better than a run a ball as well. Suck on that bitch :P

I had a game today actually, started at 2pm and I'm home at 5 haha. Was supposed to be a 40 over game, we were bowled out for 50 and they chased in about half an hour. I took 1-4 off 1 though. Helps the bowling average. My debut for the 1st XI as well. Was a cracker.
Watch and learn, 30 year old uncle........:p

Should I? You should be honoured to be able to experience the entire career of Ravi Bopara.
Can you tell your boys to enjoy their 2 weeks in Leicester as well?
    Cheers (Y)
I don't think the 6 sixes is anywhere near as big an issue as the non-english fans make out. Well, you and Precum anyway. If I was hit for 6 sixes in an over in a club game it'd bother me for about a day, but i'd forget it after that. So I imagine the Yuvraj over bothered Broad for a few days, I seriously doubt it haunts him anymore. Getting embarrassed by a poor side like the Netherlands is something that will be more prolonged embarrassment, especially considering it was Broad that bowled the last over.

Meh, that was 1 bad series. We beat them in the ODi's, then beat them 2-0 in the Tests at home, 2-0 in the ODi's and then smashed them in the T20 warm up. That same team that has failed to record 1 victory over England since Jamaica just hammered Australia, and could have put them out of the tournament. England > Australia ;)
What the hell was the need for the subcontinent rubbish? What did that have to do with Australia getting hammered by the West Indies? A side that England have walked all over in the past month or so, with them failing to beat us once.
Also, Ravi Bopara's not rubbish. Far from it in fact. Owais Shah's a talented batsman as well, just hasn't made the most of his talents in Test cricket.
Doubt it, he's going to have a far better Test career than Yuvraj Singh anyway. I'm sure getting beaten by the Netherlands will haunt him far more.
I'm not pissed off about it though =/ It's T20, he's going to get out to someone, and if it's a 17 year old left armer bowling 140k's+, then good for him. Looks a real talent.

Doubt it. Lee wasn't far off going for 36 against Gayle. 29 off 1 of his overs wasn't it? How did it feel seeing your side comprehensively beaten by a team that England have been giving a good spanking in the last month? Netherlands > England > West Indies > Australia ;)
    1) Bopara wasn't destroyed by him. Was a wide one hit in the air and then very well caught. More batsman error as opposed to good bowling.
    2) I wouldn't be pissed off anyway, as I'm genuinely excited to see a 17 year old that's capable of bowling over 140k's.
    3) Pietersen won't get out to him, and in fact smacked him for a massive six a few overs ago.
    4) I won't ever play for England. Not anywhere near good enough.

Looks bloody good actually mate. I wasn't keen on the design, as you know, but that looks the shiz. I like it alot!
It's a pretty cool design, but I'm not one for believing in the importance of Starsigns and all that mumbo jumbo tbh. The design itself is pretty cool though.
Enjoying your time on CW? I see you're as popular here as you were on PC  How come you're never on MSN anymore? =/
