  • Thought that might be the case; the Greg Baum article?

I'm not sure how quick school archives will be, but I'll let you know when something comes through.
As in, I went to Xavier.

My email is jack.mcnamara@live.co.uk if you want to send me something through. I can try and put you in contact with some people at Xavier as well if need be.
Alright, I might have to pick them up out of pure curiosity though. Big fan of Davidson myself and Gideon Haigh recommended Lindwall's. I did think Mallett was exaggerating when I read it though, he seemed to be making Viv out to be a walking wicket against any leggy. Who would be the best fast bowler and best pure wicketkeeper you've ever seen?
Was having a flick through Ashley Mallett's 'Eleven' and he made it very clear that he believed Viv to have a noticeable weakness against leg-spin bowling. I found it surprising, so I thought I'd ask you to see if you remembered anything of the sort. Also, have you read 'Fifteen Paces' by Alan Davidson or 'Flying Stumps' by Ray Lindwall, by any chance?

Ashes 09 a bit of a high point for the forum based on tonight's reading. There was one poster who annoyed the **** out of me (won't name him just in case the mods are reading but he's barely posted since aside from the England-India series, hates England), and the banter with the Aussies was great, zaremba was great, you were satisfactory, I was shocking, sledger was posting about cricket thoughtfully, Burgey was hilarious, Brumby was Brumby, Matt79 was there, Smitteh & Nafe were about. I dunno, kinda wonder if the forum will ever be as good but that's probably just the seven year veteran in me being a grumpy old man.
