Did they get worse, or were they found out?Seen it happen with a lot of leggies. I've seen plenty actually get significantly worse by early-mid 20s than they were as teenagers.

All got significantly worse. They're just leggies, not mystery spinners. Most common thing I've seen happen is they lose their control, and then the mental side of things come into it and they're done. Never seen it happen to a finger spinnerDid they get worse, or were they found out?
The reason I say that is I see leg spinners who do well in age group or lower grade cricket that bowl too slowly or get away with bad balls simply because the batsmen are young or not good enough. But they hit their ceiling soon and get exposed when they come against batsmen who are stronger and more experienced. Nothing makes a leg spinner lose their length like being attacked, and I think in many cases the deficiencies were there all along. All got significantly worse. This has nothing to do with Sangha obviously, who is bowling fine. Just pointing out that wrist spinners peaking young is more of a thing than you think it would be. You'd think it should be the opposite (and it probably usually is)
That's definitely a thing, for all disciplines not just leg spin bowlingThe reason I say that is I see leg spinners who do well in age group or lower grade cricket that bowl too slowly or get away with bad balls simply because the batsmen are young or not good enough. the game is in Perth, so started late, they've declared with most of the Day still to bowlAnd still don't know what Vics are doing. Playing for a draw means they'll end up with the wooden spoon should Tas beat NSW
how? Always just seemed like regular leggie to meSangha is a “mystery” spinner who’s no longer mysterious
WA can still make the finals if they win (as long as NSW don't win) so by reducing the number of overs left in the match it forces them to go harder and increases VICs chances. There's no reason for WA not to go for it.And still don't know what Vics are doing. Playing for a draw means they'll end up with the wooden spoon should Tas beat NSW
Yeah, Vics were still happily batting when I posted that. Even so WA is not chasing 382 in 84 overs on that pitchthe game is in Perth, so started late, they've declared with most of the Day still to bowl
Exactly, WA should be going for the win at all costs. Which makes Vic's delaying the declaration a bit more reasonableWA can still make the finals if they win (as long as NSW don't win) so by reducing the number of overs left in the match it forces them to go harder and increases VICs chances. Mate the match run rate is 2.64 over 3 innings. To set 382 in 84 overs @ 4.55 is asking a bit muchExactly, WA should be going for the win at all costs. Which makes Vic's delaying the declaration a bit more reasonable
