I feel like the latter are better in conditions where you might genuinely need multiple spinners, but I do think in Australian conditions Rocco is probably the best option post-Lyon.Rocchiccioli has a solid case for being the 2nd best spinner in the country
I actually prefer Lyon/Rocc/Pope to Lyon/Murphy/Kuhnemann
Shaw is a very good keeper, I would say that it’s more to do with the fact he’s a weapon in the fieldIf by interesting you mean catastrophically stupid, I agree. Genuinely hope the Vics lose by an innings and 200 because of that
As for Shaw, yeah seems not the worst idea from a Vic perspective. Only question is how good his glovework actually is, the fact that Gilkes kept ahead of him in that one game earlier where Philippe was out is hardly a ringing endorsement of his work behind the stumps
Ahh thanks, good to know actually. Certainly saw some very good fielding out of him in the few games he played for the SixersShaw is a very good keeper, I would say that it’s more to do with the fact he’s a weapon in the field
Seen it happen with a lot of leggies. I've seen plenty actually get significantly worse by early-mid 20s than they were as teenagers.T. Sangha has taken way longer to develop than I thought he would. 4 years ago I thought he'd be playing test cricket by now or thereabouts, but it feels like hes a worse bowler than he was at 19/20 right now.
Still remember him making that ton vs full strength SA in the touring game when they had jansen, rabada and prime nortje. Always rated him.Kellaway finally might be breaking out
