Did they get worse, or were they found out?
All got significantly worse. They're just leggies, not mystery spinners. Most common thing I've seen happen is they lose their control, and then the mental side of things come into it and they're done. Never seen it happen to a finger spinner

This has nothing to do with Sangha obviously, who is bowling fine. Just pointing out that wrist spinners peaking young is more of a thing than you think it would be. You'd think it should be the opposite (and it probably usually is)

The reason I say that is I see leg spinners who do well in age group or lower grade cricket that bowl too slowly or get away with bad balls simply because the batsmen are young or not good enough. But they hit their ceiling soon and get exposed when they come against batsmen who are stronger and more experienced. Nothing makes a leg spinner lose their length like being attacked, and I think in many cases the deficiencies were there all along.

Though I don't think this applies to Sangha, and that he actually has gotten worse (but you can say the same about Murphy).

That's definitely a thing, for all disciplines not just leg spin bowling

Sangha is a “mystery” spinner who’s no longer mysterious

Pope’s career is on a different trajectory because he’s improved his consistency to go alongside his ability to bowl wicket taking deliveries

So who plays the Shield final has come down to can NSW chase down 529 with 458 needed in 96 overs (4.77 rpo)

If not, Qld are in for a replay of current game vs SA (but with Khawaja available)

And still don't know what Vics are doing. Playing for a draw means they'll end up with the wooden spoon should Tas beat NSW

WA can still make the finals if they win (as long as NSW don't win) so by reducing the number of overs left in the match it forces them to go harder and increases VICs chances. There's no reason for WA not to go for it.

Haven't been following the Shield that closely this year (sorry GAS) but at a glance seems like Jason Sangha has had a bit of a breakout year. Among the runs a lot and looked to be in excellent form in the Big Bash. Good signs for the future

Exactly, WA should be going for the win at all costs. Which makes Vic's delaying the declaration a bit more reasonable

Parramatta DCC was founded in 1843. It's the oldest surviving cricket club in NSW and second oldest in Australia. In February this year, Bert became just the fourth player in that time to score 10,000 runs across all grades for the club. He's made 8,500+ of them in first grade, more than anyone else. Fair effort tstl.
