Literal best performance in losing cause. That’s the ultimate conclusion. All the failures and 1 literal best performance but that literal best came in losing cause. That’s worth criticism in my opinion.
Lol it was an ATG knock. On top of that he had an unlikely runout and then Shoaib bowled him an unplayable jaffa. Didn't get out once to Wasim or Waqar. Hardly a series worth bashing him for.

For someone like Viv, perhaps.
Don is obviously better. Hobbs is from a time period that I don’t usually consider him in any argument.

So Top 5 with Sachin, Sobers, Hutton & Lara is fair.

I would place Lara behind him.

Not sure about Hutton vs Richards.

I place Sachin & Sobers ahead of Viv.
