Even Darren Bravo should have been man managed better and still playing test cricket, probably West Indies most underrated player vs spin bowling..

What a farce. If you have one Test out of the two on a minefield sure, but to not reward proper batsmanship throughout the series is really poor.

I don't think the pitches Pakistan were rolling out before "rewarded" proper batsmanship either tbh. A balance is needed but if they're going to err, this is a much better way to err than the tripe they were dishing out prior to this shift.

I agree the flat af pancake pitches are much much worse than these minefields. At least you are guaranteed a result in such pitches.

But ain't flat pitches norm since time of imran? You had great bowlers who bowled magnificent reverse to win games. Have to say your younger lot are pale shadow of past greats

Dont know but there is a theory that northen pakistan esp punjab is lot colder so pitches are tough to break same with north india but west and south india along with sri lanka are lot hotter with degree touching 40- 45 Celsius so pitch are tend to break quickly and lot helpful to spin

Just seen the scorecard here. If the Windies win this (very much in balance) then how would that innings from Motie rate? 55 batting at 9 in an innings of 163. Pretty significant in the context of the match (by the looks of the scorecard anyway... sounds like he batted well, but I've not seen a single delivery so what do I know! Ha!)

yep theyre just a spin team. full of veteran spinners like Noman.

Times have changed a lot in the game.

Fast bowling is truly dead there. Ind(Bumrah+shami coming back - 2 of the best theyve ever produced) rely on fast bowling now whereas before they relied on spin and didnt have any quality fast bowlers.
