The Wheel is Forever
Great day of cricket.
He looks mentally much more into it, wonders not coming at 20/2 can do.Don't want to credit the source because the bloke is scummy and him getting another job in sports media shows just how cooked it is in this country - but apparently this has been Smith's fastest-scoring innings of 35+ since Jan 2021

They had a graphic about bowlers runing in speed and the ball speed at release.did shastri say when he runs into the crease he's going at 118kph
Just looks vastly more like himself when he's ticking the score over consistently rather than hanging on for dear life (though I think Rohit assisted him hugely in this respect)He looks mentally much more into it, wonders not coming at 20/2 can do.
Realistically we shouldn't have been 1/110 at lunch either, the pitch had plenty in it early on and India just got spooked into going away from normal lines and lengthsTough to gague. Feel like we should be 4/320 rather than 6/310 but hard to complain too much about that position at the end of play. Be interesting to see how this wicket plays over the next couple of days, also not sure what par is.
Correct. Can't believe he's gotten another high profile gigTom Morris?
Haha. Private school boy archetype- I knew he wouldCorrect. Can't believe he's gotten another high profile gig
This is a great position considering Konstas debut innings isn't sustainable with his control percentage being very low coz of his high-risk play and misses. Mean reversion came through towards latter half of the dayTough to gague. Feel like we should be 4/320 rather than 6/310 but hard to complain too much about that position at the end of play. big fast bowler. 6,4 and lanky. Mcgrath was 6,5. Both get the wickets from the extra bounce.cummins is a big guy but early in the innings he really bats small
I really hope he doesn't get it into his head that he has to play this way. Until the PMs XI game he really didn't seem to be this sort of player at all, he seemed a pretty conventional, classical batsman who was perfectly willing to see off the new ball in tough conditions. It's good that he has all these gears but team management has to make sure the media hype doesn't get to his headThis is a great position considering Konstas debut innings isn't sustainable with his control percentage being very low coz of his high-risk play and misses. This is 100% true. India absolutely dropped their bundle early in response to an approach that likely would've been a good time but not a long time against consistent length and channelRealistically we shouldn't have been 1/110 at lunch either, the pitch had plenty in it early on and India just got spooked into going away from normal lines and lengths
yep its just a bit of a fluke. not convinced yet. Overhyped.I really hope he doesn't get it into his head that he has to play this way. I know whomstve you mean and I'm blanking on something dodgy he did but I know i've shelved it somewhere in my head.Don't want to credit the source because the bloke is scummy and him getting another job in sports media shows just how cooked it is in this country - but apparently this has been Smith's fastest-scoring innings of 35+ since Jan 2021
Cooking him in public is basically the only time I've ever liked Luke Beveridge. Especially funny because it was totally uncalled for, yet all anyone can remember is how much of a **** Tom Morris is as a resultI know whomstve you mean and I'm blanking on something dodgy he did but I know i've shelved it somewhere in my head.
Our team management seem more like they'd do the opposite to me.I really hope he doesn't get it into his head that he has to play this way.
