*Official* New Zealand tour of India 2024

Still, good portents for the rest of the series. The NZ bowling just does not have the juice to bowl India out for a low score on a subcontinental track.

Bangalore's state of the art outfield drying system turned out to be a hindrance because usually by the time the outfield dries, the pitch dries too in other venues (Kanpur for example).

King Kane

International Regular
Phillips knew that was out, they didn't need a review to give that out.

When Phillips is jumping for joy you know that is out.

just stop saying weird **** like this. say normal regular ****
Like the Black Cap Superheroes are beating the Indian Supervillains?

Arachnodouche

International Captain
Kohli should've stayed at the non-striker's instead of sprinting, diving, and gasping for breath (relatively speaking, he's supremely fit of course) two balls before close of play. Might have had to play another over without the playacting though so meh whatever, **** happens

Ignore the first innings and take this as a normal home match.

Opponent scores 400. India scores 600+. Win by an innings. It'll still be a day 3 pitch tomorrow.

I mean that's not an easy chance but Ajaz Patel looks like he's never been a slipper before in there. Just all wrong.
It looks like an experiment, probably because Mitchell has dropped a bunch at slip in recent times.

We don't really have good slips now Taylor and specialist fielder Guptill have retired, aside from Southee at second or third slip.
