Could be worse imo. At least the pressure is somewhat off now, since nobody expects this match to end in anything other than defeat now.As if it wasn’t obvious that Casemiro wasn’t up to it last year let alone this year. United tactically poor to not read the midfield flood when they are playing out and the front 3 are not coming back to offer options. I like putting Collyer on but down 2 to Liverpool is a rough debut.
Casemiro is finished but the system they play does him no favors. As if it wasn’t obvious that Casemiro wasn’t up to it last year let alone this year. It’s Rashford or Garnacho with how little they work without the ball not both. Not against a top 6 team.Casemiro is finished but the system they play does him no favors.
Its very early days in the season, but they have been very open every game and not exactly creating numerous chances.
On Rashford, not done any better/worse than anyone else today but do think their is something in his contract he has to start a certain amount of games , because if not ETH LOL.
Yeah Ugarte is going to be an upgrade, but peak Kante would not solve the fact that a half decent side will drive a bus through the middle.ETH must see that Mainoo is not fast and that by starting Casemiro alongside him it creates a massive midfield flaw to exploit for any team with a dynamic midfield. Does he just hope they won’t?
Legend has it Guardiola tanked the Community Shield to keep Ten Haag in a jobYeah Ugarte is going to be an upgrade, but peak Kante would not solve the fact that a half decent side will drive a bus through the middle.
He seemed to acknowledge that finally with the line up v City in the cup final but heh 3 games in and its chaosball as usual.
His fans can't blame owners, previous managers now, this is his team and he has been backed financially.
Ruud probably replaces him before Xmas if this doesn't get better IMO and he won't have anyone to blame bar himself.
Needs to revert to the double pivot he closed the season with. Against any team with a pulse. Maybe he didn’t see that in Holland but he’s had long enough to see that he’s not in Holland anymore.Yeah Ugarte is going to be an upgrade, but peak Kante would not solve the fact that a half decent side will drive a bus through the middle.

I enjoyed his performanceI don't get up to watch the EPL like I used to years ago so only really see highlights these days. Was Casemiro as horrendous as I've heard in dispatches?
I don't think you can question Ratcliffe's success in cycling. He only bought Team Sky in 2019, all the shenanigans went on long before that.I mean his entire success on Cycling has more questions to answer than an entire Mr Universe comp if steroid testing was brought in.
The funny thing is, he's slow and past it, yet he's still probably their best option in that position. I only watched the first half because it was a forgone conclusion after that, but to focus just on Casemiro is doing huge favours to the level of averageness everywhere else in that team. I almost half wonder if City lost the FA Cup Final on purpose to keep the red half of Manchester in disarray.I don't get up to watch the EPL like I used to years ago so only really see highlights these days. It already looks like we're in for a very similar season to last year. The Top 3 are streets ahead of everyone else. It'll probably boil down to results between them and who can avoid the dropping of daft points like Arsenal did on Saturday.United fans are in for a long season if they think Ugarte will go anyway towards fixing the problems from that game.
Casemiro's issues were on the ball, rather than off it. I'd actually put that as an aspect of his game that he's considerably better than Ugarte at so that's a worry. With some luck that will settle the Mainoo super fans down, he got a lesson from Macca and Grav.
Anyway who cares about them. Great 3 points for us, another stand out game from Gravenberch who's quickly getting the recognition he deserves. The legend of Salah goes on, he's getting awfully close to Henry, Rooney etc.
I actually thought Szobo (aside from his running) and Jota were pretty poor. Robbo's best game under Slot too. There's still so much we could do better, didn't even think we played particularly well.
