Like Warner and SmithUs Aussies have too much character to resort to any sort of underhanded tactics to win.

Pretty sure those records don't exist. They don't exist even for games as late as year 2000.they aren't the cricinfo averages but the actual runs conceded by Verity to Bradman. he bowes and bedser had the best averages against bradman.
That's pretty cool. Didn't know this.Yep. 129 wickets in 31 tests @24.93 on tour since the poor series down under in 2014-15.

It is only SA where he has really struggled.
Overall in this period, he has taken 397 wickets in 76 tests @21.67. At home it is 268 wickets @20.10 which is not a massive difference from his overall record in this time. That is a full ATG career in itself.
Empirical evidence disputes this.Thumb > toenail for cricketers.

That too is because of the pitch nature. Maharaj averages a healthy 60 in the matches they played together in SA.I don’t think Ashwin’s away record is better or even comparable to Murali or Warne’s, but the anti Ashwin bias here is telling. Outperformed Lyon colossally in the last tour there, good in England, WI, and far better in SL than Lyon(and SC in general). Only been poor in SA.
Or the sort of pitches Ashwin gets at home, Laker would have Barnes like figures on.A guy like Laker barely played away from home, and the sort of pitches he got at home, Ashwin would have Barnes like figures on
Literally not. Laker had uncovered pitches and the average score in England back then was 240ish. During Ashwin's time, 317 in India.Or the sort of pitches Ashwin gets at home, Laker would have Barnes like figures on.

Well definitely no more than Indian management; sometimes I feel Subz is one of them.View attachment 41119
These are unironically amazing stats. Turns out I've actually been underrating him all this time somehow.
