Great lower order batting teams in history?

Retirement an interesting word there. You may remember he spilled a catch over the boundary for 6 in the '99 WC SF
Iirc Reiffel was injured after that opening India Test. From the Pakistan tour later that year McGrath was back with Damien Fleming generally preferred.

Fleming is one of those players where it's crazy he only played 20 tests. Felt like he was a way bigger part of the side
After his impressive debut 94/95 Ashes, was sidelined by injury and iirc lost form.

Had some terrific Tests in the 99/00 home summer but once Brett Lee arrived on the scene, he barely got a look in.

I think it's being a big part of some very famous WC matches (in 96 and 99) which lead to his legacy being perhaps inflated in my mind. He's featured in plenty of '99 highlights

This one would have to have to be up there (played only 3 Tests together though)

8. Brad Hogg (26.57)
9. Brett Lee (20.15)
10. Mitchell Johnson (22.20)
11. Stuart Clark (13.05)

Pity Hoggy didn't play more Tests as he averaged 35 in FC cricket
