He’s exactly thatI was just about to praise Pope as being the next Ian Bell and then he gets out after making a stylish fifty.
So my point still stands.
The Aussie conspiracy about some of the spares being pre COVID batches may not be far wrong.Been that way for a few years now. Think they originally blamed it on covid lockdowns and issues with the supply chain. Surely that can't still be the case.
Well, that is certainly why us England fans talk about it a lot…….I was just about to praise Pope as being the next Ian Bell and then he gets out after making a pretty fifty.
So my point still stands, he really is the next Ian Bell, he didn't convert enough of his pretty fifties into tons.
well Ian Bell "pretty 50" has 46 50's and 22 100's so at least converted about 1/3 at an average of 42 so Pope is still quite a way away to be in that discussion ...Well, that is certainly why us England fans talk about it a lot…….
Ehh, balls have been shite but the batches haven't all been the same degree of bad. The first summer mccullum came in they used a weird one that moved around corners like the 2019 batch for 10 overs then did absolutely nothing afterwards. The batch during the ashes following that where way worse.Been that way for a few years now. Think they originally blamed it on covid lockdowns and issues with the supply chain. Surely that can't still be the case.
Looked plumb and all three are redBall tracking delay
three reds for me
We found him very frustrating back in the day. Pope hasn’t had Bell’s high points it’s true.well Ian Bell "pretty 50" has 46 50's and 22 100's so at least converted about 1/3 at an average of 42 so Pope is still quite a way away to be in that discussion ...
