*Official* West Indies Tour of England, JULY 9th to 25th, 2024-- 3 TEST MATCHES

It's actually higher than Kraigg's but Louis is ahead of both (has only played 9 games though...)
Kraigg averages 40 plus in FC cricket if you remove tests. Interestingly, by the same measure, Shai Hope averages over 50.

Yeah Hope's record is seriously impressive when you consider the standard of the pitches in that competition. Looks like a gun Test prospect in ODIs too, and his Test hundred in England was top class. A really odd quirk of history that he's been so horrible in Tests generally aside from that - given how good he looks in ODIs it's arguably even more of a tragedy than Ganga not working out.

He scored a couple of 50s in his short time at Yorkshire last year as well. Hasn't played any fc cricket since.

Afternoon all. Weather looks beautiful today and I don’t think inserting England was the right way to go

this ground has short boundaries as well, so I feel a minimum of 400 in this first innings is needed

Pope reminds me of Ian Bell without the runs
To be fair, he has been seen as something of a latter day Bell for quite some time. Plenty of talent but less application. That said, prime Bell would walk into this current team even if it means AliTT and I would have even more of an excuse to update our favourite thread!

He’s got a chance here for a big score .

Got me hungry watching this . Duckett four sees me off nicely

this has to be 400 plus today in these perfect batting conditions
