There being less of them doesn't make them less valuable in general. I mean bowling wins you games more than batting, so shouldn't the bowlers be more valuable in general? It's not under rating them, it's just that there's less of them to choose from
How many do you want? How many ATGs and in which categories?
How many pacers and spinners are ATGHow many do you want?
What categories do you mean??? I thought I gave that already.
Honestly, I go for 10 each if pushed. Think more are ATG but some people have issues with that. How many pacers and spinners are ATG
We're at cross purposes. I'm not saying they're less valuable. I'm saying there's less of them to choose from, all the more so when some of them aren't always picked in their teams depending on the conditions they're playing in.There being less of them doesn't make them less valuable in general. Is this an answer by question game? How many pacers and spinners are ATG
This is a terrible myth tbh.I mean bowling wins you games more than batting
Doesn't sound like you thought about this a great deal yet seem to be very critical of others' ATG views.Honestly, I go for 10 each if pushed. Think more are ATG but some people have issues with that.
Yeah to get to the heart of the matter my friend. Is this an answer by question game?
Not really? Need 20 wickets to win. This is a terrible myth tbh.
There being less of them doesn't mean you have to pick more batters is my point. As Subs seems to want me to do.We're at cross purposes. I'm not saying they're less valuable. I'm saying there's less of them to choose from, all the more so when some of them aren't always picked in their teams depending on the conditions they're playing in.
I mean going by what I see this is exactly the amount of thought being put into this matter in general, so I'm fine.Doesn't sound like you thought about this a great deal yet seem to be very critical of others' ATG views.
Try defending 150 every game and see how it works for you.Not really? Need 20 wickets to win.
You end up defending 150 because of the other team's bowling efforts earlier no? And if you have no bowling then see how the results are home and away. I mean you should know this of all people given the Australian journey post Lillee/Thomson into McGrath/Warne and up till now.Try defending 150 every game and see how it works for you.
You only have 4-5 bowlers though, vs 6+ batters and everyone being expected to bat. Let alone how Tests are won, where generally 20 wickets need to be taken in order to win. Both batting and bowling are equally important. Cricket is a 11 player game.
Not directed at you here mate because it's something I've noticed come into prevalence the past few years generally, but the bolded is an affectation which is so pretentious and wanky it's the equivalent of coming in at 4-580 and making a run a ball wanker hundred then taking a pic of your name up on the honour board and splashing it on social media for everyone to see. I wish it would incur immediate infraction points. If I was sitting having a discussion with someone over a beer and they made a point by saying "blah blah blah, no?" I'd just get up and leave because they'd be an enormous ****ing toss pot.You end up defending 150 because of the other team's bowling efforts earlier no? Oh I have a lot of those tbhBurgey's 'get off my lawn' moment lol.
