Lol now we know you're trolling....For my fellow SC posters who are hesitant about cutting the averages of your pacers, please remember there is nothing to be shy about. This isnt Affirmative Action. You are merely claiming what is rightfully theirs.
Not sure about this.I totally disagree on this. The skill set required to master SENA and SC are different; but SC ones are more difficult. Had Kapil had been English, I don't doubt at all that his record would had improved.
Kapil would adapt. His actual record in England is 13 tests averaging 39 and striking at 78. I'm curious to know to what extent you think his record would improve??
If SC was easier we would have more pacers with better averages. Not sure about this.
That’s the same point i’m making bro m. Since Kapil sucked in Eng and did well in India, can’t give him extra points against BroadI don't think it works like that. It's very situational for every bowler imo. Should we really cut points for Shami and Umesh, when they both dominated other pacers in SC and relatively sucked away in SENA (especially Umesh)?
Yeah, but so has done Rabada in South Africa....Yes we should because they dominated other pacers in SC.
And instead have a bad record in SC. Can’t have best of both worldsKapil would adapt.
I think the case here is quite different. Lillee sucked quite hard in his limited SC matches, do we cut points for that??That’s the same point i’m making bro m. Since Kapil sucked in Eng and did well in India, can’t give him extra points against Broad
That's not an answer. Improve from 39 to what??Kapil would adapt.
Fair enoughIf SC was easier we would have more pacers with better averages.
And no one will give much of a damn about it then. And instead have a bad record in SC. Can’t have best of both worlds
On greentops, not spinning wickets.Yeah, but so has done Rabada in South Africa....
We should.I think the case here is quite different. Lillee sucked quite hard in his limited SC matches, do we cut points for that??
How do you think Lillee you had done if he was born in Pakistan?? Or Trueman in West Indies?? Or Warne in India???His actual record in England is 13 tests averaging 39 and striking at 78. I'm curious to know to what extent you think his record would improve??
They shouldAnd no one will give much of a damn about it then.
Who knows? Their style and approach to bowling would be completely differentHow do you think Lillee you had done if he was born in Pakistan?? Or Trueman in West Indies?? Or Warne in India???
And still be hailed as an English great like Broad is.And instead have a bad record in SC. Can’t have best of both worlds
Yes . No one rates him in top 5 fast bowlers .I think the case here is quite different. Lillee sucked quite hard in his limited SC matches, do we cut points for that??
But Kapil is also considered Indian greatAnd still be hailed as an English great like Broad is.
