It didn't change the fact you don't know what "neutral" means.
Tried this thing called dictionary recently?
  1. Not aligned with, supporting, or favoring either side in a war, dispute, or contest.
  2. Belonging to neither side in a controversy.
    "on neutral ground."
  3. Belonging to neither kind; not one thing or the other.
  4. ***less; neuter.
  5. Of or relating to a solution or compound that is neither acidic nor alkaline.
  6. Of or relating to a compound that does not ionize in solution.

England don't qualify because like the fans they don't give a **** about a mickey mouse tournament. has it done anything for cricket?
It allowed NZ to win a trophy I guess, even if they owed that to Covid, slow over rates and Aus not being bothered about going to SA to qualify for it.

England lurking at the bottom of WTC Table. They are at 19.44 pts only above SL with 0 points. India on #2 64.58 pts
I mean it's a mockery of a competition anyway.

Should all play the same amount of tests and be based on points only. Percentage thing made sense cos of COVID doesn't now.

Points shouldn't be deducted for slow over rates and players should be made to play until they've bowled 90 overs in a day.

Slow over rate penalties can apply, but only in the case of a draw, not when it finishes on Day 4 FFS!!

its made certain countries actually play some test cricket instead of the 0 they would in favour of more jamt20s instead so yes it has done something

It's just shy of an MLM any way, even the two year cycle makes no sense given few teams will play most of their games at home in this time strongly boosting their chances of a finals berth! ICC's just like Trump (name) selling it's name for the LCD

FFS I have to deal with some incredibly stupid people in my life at the best of times, and here you are looking for a podium finish when I'm in my valuable spare time.

You take a word with six listed definitions, choose one of them then highlight part of it which doesn't apply to the situation anyway.

Why didn't you choose the second definition? You know - the one about being on neutral ground, one not belonging to either side. Like the venues for the first two finals.

I'm guessing the vast majority are genetically linked to you!!

You know damn well conditions make all the difference in cricket - In Eng all the top 5 avg bowlers from Oz are pacers! Gee I wonder why? Then you pretend why people don't call out this

The good news though is they produce those runs faster, so even though they make more runs, they still lose in roughly the same time frame as before, but feel better about themselves doing it.
And their own bowlers hate them for never getting a day off

Nah, England don't qualify because they don't win enough matches.
I mean they won more matches than anyone but India in the first tournament and Australia in the second one.

It's a mockery of a competition. It's like if Villa played less games than Man City in the premier league yet win it instead because of percentage.

New Zealand got into the final the first time yet barely played away.

That and they won a bunch of Test series home (unbeaten) and away (Pak, SL, Eng). Anyone who doesn't think that was well deserved can suck Ross Taylor's sweaty box

Mate I didn't think you're very bright and you've confirmed it for me.

The venues for the first two WTC finals didn't belong to one team or another. They fit perfectly within the definition of neutral. If the ICC wanted to go low brow and play them in SL or Bangladesh like someone suggested earlier, they would be neutral venues too, because they aren't a home venue for either side. That this concept is a difficult one for you to come to terms with speaks volumes.

You've just got the ****s India got beaten in both finals. Deal with it and accept they didn't play well enough or they picked the wrong team. That's on them, not the venue.

I don't understand why you're tying yourself in knots when you should just accept you're being ridiculous because your side was beaten twice. Big ****ing deal. Feel free to include as many tables listing Peter Siddle's numbers as you like, it's irrelevant to whether the venues were neutral. Which they were.
