Batting looks a bit thin this game. Interested to see how we go about it if windies put anything remotely challenging on the board batting first. Also, can marnus just **** off already in this format? I know he was decent in the WC final but he's just unnecessary.

I think he's not that bad for the format tbh, he has a massive upside with how good in the field. I get it's a bit overkill having both him and smith in the side, but realistically smith isn't making another world cup

Agreed. Don't particularly love picking him in addition to Smith (in most conditions at least), but when Smith finishes up going with Marnus instead seems an entirely logical way to move forward

So they take McDermott from the Shield game and then don't even play him.

Batting Abbott at 7 so 5 frontline bowlers + Green and Hardie seems a bit of a bowling overkill

Lee describing Morris' run up as that of "an 800m sprinter" is not something I'd heard before. Mostly because afaic 800m aint no ****ing sprint.
