Is this the most one sided ODI ever between two established nations?

TBH this was the sort of level I was kind of expecting in the test series, so as bad as this is, I'll take it over having two really one sided test matches.
It's both even the most one-sided ODI between these two sides in Oz this century.

At the WACA in 12/13, WI were bowled out for a lower score and Oz chased down the target for only one wicket.

Mind you, that WI side had the excuse that Starc was at his unplayable best that match.

Yeah wasn't that just unplayable inswing on that occasion? Fair cry from whatever that was out there today, they've been demolished trying to slog Australia's 3rd choice attack out of the ground and missing pretty much every time.

It's the fifth shortest ODI against two full-member nations. Two were Sri Lanka v Zimbabwe, one was a match between England and India in the 1980's that was reduced to 15 overs a side (so shouldn't count) and the other was the Asia Cup final a couple of months back.

I only just got home and the game's already over. What the ****.

Also, this was an even shorter chase than when Oz played USA at the 2004 Champions Trophy; iirc Ponting said that match was a waste of time.

Don't think there's been a more devastating ODI new-ball bowler than Starc in that 2012-15 period.

Just seen the scorecard. What a thumping. I had to double check as at first I thought it was a T20 not an ODI.

The West Indies should forfeit their match payments to refund anyone who had tickets to that. Getting through less than a third of the alloted overs before a result was reached is unforgiveable.
I felt sorry for the food vendors who've paid a massive fee to be there, but I felt so ripped off myself that I didn't buy anything unlike what I was going to do.

Hope averages 60 as an opener. Also, this Ottley fellow debuted 15 years ago. What's the point?
Haynes wants everyone to believe that they're building for the next World Cup.

They've been using that line for at least 10 years now.

Just looking at some stats after this game, and green's home away split in ODI is pretty funny (Small sample, tbf). Averages 90 with the bat and 19 with the ball at home, while he averages 25 with the bat and 80 with the ball away.
