Outside of our first bowling innings, we have been awfully poor all series IMO.

You are picking teams for 1 test only FWIW. There is no ****ing rule that says he cant be picked later in the series if conditions demand that. And they might, at Dharamshala. But this is piss poor selection and frankly, worse than the **** Koach team pulled back in 2018 in RSA.

Second lowest average of anyone with 150+ wickets. Waqar averaged about 18 when he crossed the 150 mark, but he played a lot of his early cricket against some marginally test-standard NZ, SL and Zim sides. Bumrah's career to date represents a much more impressive body of work.
