Green has seemed really out of sorts across formats for a while so I think dropping him made sense in a bubble, but that's the problem with 15 man squads and carrying Stoinis - he ends up an auto selection as soon as that happens, and that sucks.

Yeah I agree but I'd have picked another 10-20 players ahead of Stoinis too so obviously the selectors see him a bit differently.

Would still bat better than Stoinis tho.

Greens not in there I think cause they want him to bowl more but he rarely bowls more than 3 overs. The 3 main quicks have struggled and they’ve needed their part timers to bowl 5-10 overs. Stoinis got the two crucial wickets and a fine catch last game to open Pakistan up.
