WI is touring Australia again in early 2024 and it’s going to be a really tough sell after their last tour
I am lost for answers atm
They’re not good enough to be playing international cricket atm but ignoring them won’t help the situation
They'd be mad to prepare turners against England - it's always been their quicks roughing up the English bats that's given the windies joy whenever we tour.Bazball on slow turner like this one? They will be back in hut in no time. If you did watch WI batting, you would’ve known.
What a turgid post.Agreed, last thing cricket needs to do is become even more exclusive , but this is unacceptable.
Test cricket is amazing when you get 2 closely matched sided as we seen with the Ashes, but this won't do.

Other than England I'm not sure they've been that competitive at home. With Roach/Holder/Gabriel they've been able to field a threatening attack at times but they're all past their peak now. The less said about the batting, the better.I don’t think it’s that easy. The Windies have been a competitive side at home, but this pitch is about a close to Indian home conditions as it gets and this is what India does to teams at home (well, maybe not the Australian team recently but that is a historically good team). This is an ugly slow turner and it takes Ashwin / Jadeja to get something out of this pitch.
He's saving Test cricket.Wow really exciting innings from Kohli
It’s just an unfortunate situation but he’s not wrongWhat a turgid post.
who knows maybe Sarfaraz Khan will finally play a test that wayOther than England I'm not sure they've been that competitive at home. With Roach/Holder/Gabriel they've been able to field a threatening attack at times but they're all past their peak now. The less said about the batting, the better.
I don't really understand why they insist on producing such turgid wickets, they don't even have spinners who can take advantage of them.
India seems to own West Indian cricket now, perhaps they can donate some of their best first class crickets as part of the investment.
We won the same amount of tests as Pakistan and New Zealand in the last WTC cycle. It’s just an unfortunate situation but he’s not wrong
The Windies are a very poor test team and have failed to qualify for the T20 & ODI World Cups
Truth is that they’re associate level
yeah easy as it is to look at the windies results when they come to australia or in the recent odi wc qualifier the fact of the matter is at home they’re usually a pretty tough beat and have for a whileIt’s just an unfortunate situation but he’s not wrong

Yep agreed this pitch is a terrible choice and then Rakheem being injured just amplifies that.yeah easy as it is to look at the windies results when they come to australia or in the recent odi wc qualifier the fact of the matter is at home they’re usually a pretty tough beat and have for a while
bizarre they have rolled out a pitch that would make nagpur or galle blush for india though, especially when the indian seam attack is missing bumrah. as much as i love rahkeem (who’s off the park injured), a pitch where he and jomel warrican are meant to go strength for strength up against ashwin and jadeja is puzzling tstl
TOTAB would have given shelter and water to everyone, as he always did when touring the SC.LOL @ the debutant standing in the sun while Rohit gets a towel and an umbrella boy. What would Border think of this @Burgey?
