Now the game starts again

you can assume that Robinson and stokes will not bowl

do it’s all on wood, broad, Woakes and moeen to try and give England a chance for the win

26 the lead. I feel to have a chance for England they have to bowl the Aussies out for around 230

even that would give a chance of around 30% for the win to England
Given the history of this ground Aus would not want to defend anything short of 350

I am starting to wonder what our coach actually does
From my understanding, McDonald's basically a yes man. Which is fine when things go right, but you need someone willing to criticise for when things aren't 100%.

OTOH, do Khawaja, Boland and Marsh do as well as they have under the Paine/Langer duumvirate?

Cummins is such a mediocre captain. Ignoring the trash bowling, he also completely lost his head captaincy wise at the end there
No. The most you can criticize him for is being slow to react. But he made the right calls in the end.

Led from the front in the first test.

Slowed Stokes down in the second test.

Brought in Murphy to get Stokes in this test.

Ideal for Aus would be Warner batting for 2.5-3 hours on this outfield. He’s long odds though

Think England are in massive trouble here if we are a bowler short.

Given Moeen his only reminded us just why he isn’t up to this level mentally, if we are relying on control or wickets from him then surely the Aussies are home and dry.

If we don’t get their two openers early they’ll be 100 ahead quickly with 10 wickets remaining.

Any chase of 220+ will be tricky given how shaky England look batting against this pace and bounce.

Think the Aussies sadly will be 300 or clear and the series hype over in the same space of 3 tests.

Wanna be wrong though of course!
