Norwood's on Fire
Didn't lose in 19, plus as I've extensively proven, 17/18 and 21/22 don't count17/18, 19, 21/22, 23 and 24/25
Edit - nevermind, read the full context (RE 19)

24/25 early and not confirmed
I'm saying stokes' innings is the only thing that prevented that.Didn't lose in 19, plus as I've extensively proven, 17/18 and 21/22 don't count
yeah i just edited. Don't mind meI'm saying stokes' innings is the only thing that prevented that.
The main difference between the sides really just is attention to detail all around. I do wonder if they've let it go too far in the name of feel good and relaxed atmosphere and someone needs to inject a little bit of Langerism and enforce a few standards. The drops, the mountain of extras, the loose wickets - all products less of a lack of skill than more a lack of discipline.Easy to become really negative and hateful. Oz have bowled well - obviously a couple of the dismissals are poor. But if we catch Marsh yesterday then we probably have a lead now and that's cost us time and again this series.
We've gone away from what made the last 12 months a success IMO. I know some people think it proves it was all a myth, but I don't see a side playing like they were last summer, in terms of approach.
the post on reddit was great and explained why it worked last year and why it hasn’t now. instead of such posts the media has been shielding the teamThey've believed their own hype and thought they were changing the very fabric of test match cricket.
We've not done the basics well enough and lost every key moment in the series. Test match cricket wins at the end of the day.
Yeah that’s a fair point. Particularly coming up to lunchYeah but Mo got away with one a few balls before so should have put it away and ducked. Idiot.
Coming back from a long lay off tbf to him, but something they ought to have factored in when selecting him at keeper I guessMade the point with my dad just now. He is fat like his dad was now and you wonder about him as an outfielder in the world cup too as he was electric before but looks too big now.
Who gives a ****, it'll be another 4/5-0 snore fest. The English leg of the ashes is the only one worth watching unless you're an Aussie or an English masochist.Next away series is 25/26 though right?
The "approach" turned a good, but severely under-performing side, into a very capable one. But like all approaches it has it's limitations and this approaches' limitations come up against sides that are more evenly matched, and cannot be dominated ( i.e. the top of world Test cricket, Australia, and probably India too ).We've gone away from what made the last 12 months a success IMO. I know some people think it proves it was all a myth, but I don't see a side playing like they were last summer, in terms of approach.
