Kyle Mayers would shred on a deck like this, let's be realpart of this is because on seamy pitches you've got three pace bowlers who take all the wickets though, whereas in the spin pitch examples that you cite where an elgar type can take five that's often partly a function of that guy being the second team's touring spinner. for all we know kyle mayers could roll in and take five on this pitch effortlessly, but we wouldn't know because he isn't going to get a bowl on a pitch like this in an attack that already has got starc boland and the cumster.
and i say this as someone who thinks this pitch rocks, i just don't think your argument holds
whoa can’t believe Zondo managed to implement a top-down change in South Africa’s attitude towards cricket
he absolutely wouldKyle Mayers would shred on a deck like this, let's be real
It does feel sometimes like he was a missed opportunity... he always felt like he had the potential but just never kicked on. I do feel he was not treated well by CSA and I think that comes back to his out spoken nature of the problems within cricket in SA.Having watched Khaya Zondo multiple times over the years in TV and in person,I always thought he just didn't have the range of strokes to be successful at International level. He does seem to get stuck quite often, the difference in Domestic cricket is he gets a few loose deliveries.
You clearly still don't know what doctored means, or you're just pretending to be an idiotWhy would I have chip on my shoulders?
Keep defending this pitch and then call normal SL wickets as doctored .
I doubt it, and South Africa already lost in similar time against England this year. 3rd test was less than 150 overs.Only 132 overs have been bowled so far.
That's 1.5 days of cricket.
Is it close to the shortest match ever?
What argument?and i say this as someone who thinks this pitch rocks, i just don't think your argument holds
the point that a wicket like this isn't matchy matchy with a nagpur vs sa style dustbowl sort of thingWhat argument?
Ok I don’t believe that this wicket is doctored .You clearly still don't know what doctored means, or you're just pretending to be an idiot
My dude, prepping a deck like this when the opposition is packing 4 quicks is not “doctoring.”That is pretty rich coming from a guy who considers SL pitches doctored .
If SL pitches are doctored, so is this .
This doesn't make any senseOk I don’t believe that this wicket is doctored .
But since I am arguing with a 10 year child I will say that Aussies have doctored this wicket because they haven’t won a live Test at home against SA in last 17 years .
