part of this is because on seamy pitches you've got three pace bowlers who take all the wickets though, whereas in the spin pitch examples that you cite where an elgar type can take five that's often partly a function of that guy being the second team's touring spinner. for all we know kyle mayers could roll in and take five on this pitch effortlessly, but we wouldn't know because he isn't going to get a bowl on a pitch like this in an attack that already has got starc boland and the cumster.

and i say this as someone who thinks this pitch rocks, i just don't think your argument holds
Kyle Mayers would shred on a deck like this, let's be real

And I have no problem with this pitch .
This pitch was much needed for Aus bowlers after the last 2 Test wickets against WI which was batting paradise .
I have huge respect for Aussie bowlers who consistently bowl on roads . They too need few bowling friendly wickets.

Having watched Khaya Zondo multiple times over the years in TV and in person,I always thought he just didn't have the range of strokes to be successful at International level. He does seem to get stuck quite often, the difference in Domestic cricket is he gets a few loose deliveries.
It does feel sometimes like he was a missed opportunity... he always felt like he had the potential but just never kicked on. I do feel he was not treated well by CSA and I think that comes back to his out spoken nature of the problems within cricket in SA.

That is pretty rich coming from a guy who considers SL pitches doctored .
If SL pitches are doctored, so is this .
My dude, prepping a deck like this when the opposition is packing 4 quicks is not “doctoring.”

Ok I don’t believe that this wicket is doctored .
But since I am arguing with a 10 year child I will say that Aussies have doctored this wicket because they haven’t won a live Test at home against SA in last 17 years .
This doesn't make any sense
