Wait a minute is this whole thing just because he won't do TV ads?
It's been brewing for a while now since Cummins made it clear that he's worried about climate change is willing to speak out publicly about it. This is just the latest trigger for every conservative to start whining about celebrities being worried about climate change, because only the morally pure get to care about climate change, apparently.Wait a minute is this whole thing just because he won't do TV ads?
Plus driving a V8.Wait a minute is this whole thing just because he won't do TV ads?
Don't make irrelevant posts. Please stick to the topicAverages at home:
Bumrah: 15.64
Cummins: 20.76
Averages away:
Bumrah: 21.96
Cummins: 22.83
Neither have an average at neutral venues. Cummins just plays more at home. Hence Bumrah.
Cummins has yet to play a test at a neutral venue, while Bumrah has yet to take a wicket at one.Neither have an average at neutral venues.
That's theCummins has yet to play a test at a neutral venue, while Bumrah has yet to take a wicket at one.
99% of humans are lots of negative things though. Hypocrisy is still allowed to be criticised. It's still a thingIdk anything about the Cummins thing either but literally 99% of humans are hypocrites. I’m sure Bumrah is a massive one too.
I have no beef with Cummins tbh. I'm aware you can push for a good cause while not wanting to turn your own personal life upside down. It's cleary more the governments and big businesses of the world that should pick up their act before one dude has to re climate change. I still like John Lennon's "Imagine" for example! What's your point though? Do you expect him not to tour or not to drive a car at all?
What if he catches a petrol powered bus? is that ok or not?
sure but in the grand scheme of things it's a red herring - if cummins was going around slashing people's tyres for not buying a prius while himself driving around in a dodge ram or whatever sure, but you don't have to be living off the grid to be able to reasonably call out or draw attention to attempted greenwashing by a company which is the fifth (?) biggest polluter in the entire countryDriving a V8 is definitely hypocritical though. It's not quite the same as having to travel via airplanes because he could just get an electric vehicle. He's loaded.
Currently the best thread in Cricket Chat.it's great that (supposed) debate about who the better bowler is has reduced to bickering about the respective parties carbon emissions
a very productive use of bandwidth if ever I saw one
