Less talked about excellent players

Patience and Accuracy+Gut

State Vice-Captain
Bill O’Reilly.Best bowler of all time and doesn’t get as much appreciation as he deserves except in this forum.
Guys like Grimmett,Laker generally tend to be rated higher. And as good as those two were they don’t deserve to be mentioned in same breath as Tiger.

BoyBrumby

Englishman
Bob Willis doesn't seem to rate as high as he should on CW.
Dunno, think he's usually regarded as our best post-FST quick, isn't he?

My take is his only serious rival for that accolade, with all due respect to Jimmeh, who's really a fast-medium swing bowler, JA Snow is maybe more unsung on here, as someone observed earlier in the thread.

Jayro

U19 12th Man
Fanie de Villiers was one of my 90s favs.
Mine too the way he used to put reins on the run rate in ODIs was incredible, in fact he looked to be the only bowler to dominate Tendulkar in mid 90's and that too on subcontinent wickets, can safely say he was second to none in his ability to check run-rate.

Midwinter

State Captain
Ian Redpath

Backbone of the Australian team in the late 60's, early 70's.

Ross Edwards, member of Chappell's all conquering team in the mid 70's
