Nice game to win but we were WAY to casual on the field. Didn't feel like anyone outside of Wade and finch were taking this game seriously.

Up until that last over I was pleasantly surprised by the performance considering the jetlag and missing players (particualrly Evin Lewis, Akheil Hossein and Obed McCoy).

Got to field better than that though!

Genuinely not heard of any of those blokes save Lewis.
This is where I’m glad I don’t watch much OS T20 crickets when the players tour here they’re a novelty to me

How many balls is he going to face on average batting 4? Smith does not have the ability to accelerate that guys like Kohli or even Malan do. Sure you guys need guys who actually know how to build a long innings but Smith has never demonstrated the prerequisite ability to accelerate in T20s. Even his best ODI knocks are usually when he steadies the ship but that still requires someone else to come in and have a slog to get the run rate up. There simply aren't enough balls in T20s. Smith sucks the momentum out of every RR innings in the IPL year in and out which is pretty funny though.
That's blatantly untrue

He used to be very good but as he got better in tests, he got worse in t20s. Bit similar to Michael Clarke in ODIs post 2008

Hi there!

I'm looking forward to seeing England against Australia.
It's a shame Ben Duckett is not part of England's squad. He was excellent against Pakistan. I hope we see him again soon. Maybe a candidat as an opener for the Test team also ?
England have revealed their batters, but what about their bowlers ?

Hales, Buttler(c), Malan, Stokes, Brook, Livingstone, Ali, Curran, Woakes, Rashid, Topley ?

Batting very deep and many bowling options :)

Hetmyer is the biggest disappointment. Either he has major commitment issues or the selectors really don't like him. King -Hetty-Pooran is very good in theory actually.
Hetmyer like Daren Bravo is a head case. All the talent in the world that just needed some nurturing, hardworkand a little discipline but nope. And I don't 100% blame the WI board either. These men are just wastes of talent.

I expect Duckett will return to Pakistan for the next Test series, albeit as a reserve batsman. Expect he'll get more chances in the white ball sides too after this WC.

In terms of bowlers, Wood is a lock provided he is fit. Probably he comes in for either Woakes or Curran in your proposed team. Or they could choose to stack the bowling rather than batting and he comes in for Brook (or Livingstone if he's not fit) and Curran bats at 7.

Heard that hetymyr has some stuff going on at home that's effecting his cricket. His misses is apparently a bit crazy and threw a hissy fit when she wasn't allowed to come to the WC with him, which is why he misses the flight. Take that all with a grain of salt, not from a trustworthy sauce, but it would explain a bit.
