Stoinis has been bought back for the england series, apparently. Feels wierd to play green and make him miss out on shield cricket with 2 huge series and a potential WTC final around the corner.I'm wondering why they keep playing Green if they aren't going to use him in the WC. Is there some suggestion Stoinis is injured?
Stoinis is injured now, but expected to be fit for the World T20I'm wondering why they keep playing Green if they aren't going to use him in the WC. Is there some suggestion Stoinis is injured?
Stoinis declared himself 'right' and happy with his bowling workout.Stoinis is injured now, but expected to be fit for the World T20
edit: and I'm assuming (or even hoping ) that they are expecting for a spot to become available through injury and Green will be added. If they have no plans to add him to the squad then they wouldn't be playing him
I don't mind it. Giving 1 guy an absolute license like that at the top of the order will pay off on balance.I mean it doesn't matter but someone tell Green that he doesn't need to slog every single ball he faces in T20s
Waste of his ability imo. Like I said it hardly matters, thoughI don't mind it. Giving 1 guy an absolute license like that at the top of the order will pay off on balance.
He's been like this for about 18 monthsFinch looks dreadful.
He should have made the call to hang up the boots more than 6 months ago but it got the to stage where it was too close to the World T20, so he was in a tough spot with the team not wanting to change captains right before the tournament and either choice ends up being wrongIt’s actually sad to watch a bloke who was so dynamic decline to the extent he has
You’d have to think theyve told him to do exactly that though?I mean it doesn't matter but someone tell Green that he doesn't need to slog every single ball he faces in T20s
