Stumped!

Manning arrested the slide, just 24 needed from eight overs now. Good thing I called him up after giving the kids a chance behind the stumps in the earlier matches

TMO have lost a couple of wickets - but only need 2 dozen runs- you want to get hold of our captain now and shout in his earhole - forget the Orders man !!! go for the wickets, but he doesn't seem to be listening !!

Oh my 2 teams have lost to very close games- congrats to TMO and AtaraXla.
On the negative I haven't done much work the past hour and on the positive ...well that's the way the cookie crumbles; we had our glory last week!
It is going to make the respective tables for my teams look very tight I think after 3 games - I'll sound a cracked record but this is what makes our games far superior in terms of closeness and competitiveness to 80% of the league games (not a complaint about the official leagues- just a big up for our matches!)

The more I play the more important I realize speed is for the fast bowlers. Better to have a slightly less accurate F than a more accurate MF.

Great chase from TMOs, strong lower order doing some hard work. Thanks for a good game @Charlie B
That was a very professional game of cricket from our two teams Stephen. Looking at the scorecard both batting sides battled away and no one bowler got clouted or was a match winner on their own. Your guys timed it well and kept their noses in front! I don't think I could have done much more- in terms of batting speed with 8 wickets down at the end we couldn't have gone any faster against your guys or we would have been bowled out for less .

I quite like the role we could have as party poopers in CW4B - not expecting that we'll get a win with my young side but could play a big impact when it comes to NRR or if we catch a side off their game take a bonus point off them which could be huge

I've just realised that I am the potential 'side off their game' that you allude to ! I'm the 'party' you want 'to poop' !!

The two fast bowlers for GG CC have just proven that...75 for five already, clearly the boys were watching ZCC a little too closely this morning

Fouche (no relation) just letting D Souza do the job.

53 more needed. Probably not enough time for M. Fouche's second spell as partnership breaker (starts at over 38)

Forgot I sold half my first eleven and didn’t change my orders…. Got away with it thankfully
You still had a over 10K rating advantage over the homegrown lol. I like how in Goliath's first game for AX-W he top-scores with 27* (33); he didn't reach 20 in over 100 innings for AXI. Still did his classic "I have no clue what shot to play" bonanza: 4 leaves, 3 blocks, 11 pushes, 14 attacks, and 1 slog! Hopefully AX-W can snag a point in the second half of the group stage...
Group A looks a humdinger. SCC upsetting Morpork almost looks inevitable.
heh

Shawn Dee's been excellent as an opener this season, averaging above 40 in 50-over friendlies (normally in the form of 55 off 100). 115 (126) against 62/63K bowling is fantastic. Jasper Davey's also stepped up a notch with the bat this season, many close games he's won for us. My tail (7 to 11) is extremely fluid and honestly wouldn't look out of place if it's reversed. Ludlow is very very good for a #11; he'd play as a specialist bat for the affiliate. Oh and Allwright gets a 6-fer. A 255-point all-round performance.
