I know that it was a bot bash and all, but scoring near 300 in a T20 game is more than impressive.

The Buy Ins are playing a BOT today ..Deep Backward Square CC. However they have got off to a very good score in their response so I looked them up and there seems to be a ring of familiarity regarding their manager...

(An update - - now the opener is out they have slowed down and it is now to be hoped they will provide 20 overs of bowling whilst scoring 79.99% or less runs than us!!)

Why does it feel like there are so many more bowlers than batsmen in this game…

a) Teams need more batters than bowlers, which means higher demand than supply
b) People often don't pull batting heavy YPs as they're thrown off by stats (A batter averaging 30 usually gets ignored for a bowler averaging 20, when in fact given they're probably around the same level)

FHK have got a few 40/41 pot youngsters kicking about, might put some on the market soon if you're interested

I only pick potential batsmen for my YP. That may have to change a bit soon but its all I`ve done for awhile. That may also explain the terrible 18 week run I had though. But saying that I put a 44 pot bat on the market that was sold for $1000 @ataraxia.

So after losing by 125 runs at 5DNOL last week, ZCC have challenged FHK to a rematch at Dom Dom Memorial CG

Pitch is a lot more seam-bowling friendly. FHK going in with the same attack that toppled AXI in their CWC4 clash recently, with Bikswing Nouding set to take the field against his former team. ZCC going in unchanged from their default XI, but experimenting with new bowling orders to get more out of the current attack.

ZCC right now 207/6 in 45 overs, and looks like we'll finish on a sub-par score! Nouding 1/31 in 10 overs, but everyone's bowled well for FHK. Shum with an average ball quality of 2.9 in these conditions but still got through his 10 for 1/48.

The chase will be quite interesting.

Chung Yiu strikes to dismiss Qasim Abdullah, but Tony Chung has walked in and smoked two boundaries already. 53/1 in 17, asking rate now 5.39. Advantage still FHK but ZCC not making it easy. Agnes Chow quietly going about business with 33* off 53.

A good partnership between Chow and Chung but something had to give. Asking rate was creeping over 6, and one wicket brought 3!

138/4 in 36 now. Chung has brought up his fifty, and is joined by wonderkid Nathan Law in the middle. 93 needed off 84, still some batting to come for FHK. Ball getting older so should be easier to bat. Game very much still on!

Hi Molle - what is the story with the thread on the stumped board? Whether or not it is relevant the manager is indeed breaking the rules because he clearly has an affiliate who is not designated as such - he has not exactly tried to conceal it though with similar team and manager names!!

Have you posted this in the wrong place or am I missing something really obvious?
