Surprised by Hadlee's numbers, thought it would be better. Marshall's are more comparable to McGrath in this respect.
Don't know if Hadlee got to bowl in 2 innings as much as McGrath. Still that adjustment will not allow Hadlee to get numbers for any batters close to what McGrath has for Tendulkar and Lara.

I have explained this directly 2 or 3 times already on the last page alone . . . it's only a relevant factor if you're comparing 2 players with nearly identical stats.

Your Player A and Player B are not similar at all. Player A is taking nearly twice as many wickets, and I assume, at a much better average.

Again though, wickets per match/innings is not a good measurement at all anyway
Player A is an exaggerated version of Hadlee / Lillee.
I was giving you a simple equation to understand whats wrong with your argument.
Lillee and Hadlee actually took more top order wickets per match than Mcgrath. FACT.

I've destroyed this multiple times today already but you keep repeating it over and over you're either a master troll or genuinely deficient

McGrath wins IMO.
Mcgrath's performance against Tendulkar, Dravid and Sehwag is especially impressive considering that he had to carry an injured Warne on his shoulders in all those matches.
