Mooo triumphs in a low-scoring encounter against Cow Corner CC.

We were bowled out for 90 on a wicket favoring spin. Only 3 batsmen got into double figures: Meyiwa (29), Tipping (23), Jawad (22). Runs were hard to come by and wickets were falling in heaps.

Cow Corner started their reply positively. They added 29 for the first wicket in 5.4 overs. With the introduction of spin, one can sense that it was gonna be a tough experience for all their batsmen....It was literally a web spun by leg spinners Zahid (4-0-19-3) and Jawad (4-1-9-2), left-arm finger spinner Gul (2-0-7-1), and off-spinner Burger (3.2-0-14-2). Tipping executed and run out and the only wicket to fall to pace was taken by captain Toogood (2-0-10-1)

Cow Corner were bowled out for 77.

Mooo now sits in 2nd position on the table. 5 wins from 6 games.

Wow, odd T20 vs Schmaltzberg. 89 all out surely shouldn't have been enough, but 6-13 and a run out by Jasper Davey gifted me a 6-run win. That is the best bowling analysis in 155 games for the club, in a T20 no less. It beats out Juan Goliath 6-19 against @Marcuss way back in April, and recently transferred Afzal Mohiuddin got 6-20 against @StephenZA about a month ago.
Well, I just had another T20 against a similarly-rated WCC side. On a seamer's paradise Juan Goliath, a spinner, reclaimed the best club bowling figures with 6 for... 4. 6-4. By turning the strong Winton middle order into pieces.

An classic aggressive/defensive Frost/Saadi partnership is taking me to a win at 6rpo. Lovely.

Meanwhile over at the GG CC CG, those team is dominating Mooo.

8 overs left to go and 193 on the board. They’ll push for 250
Moooo won! Good stuff from the Calves!

HH didn't accept my friendly challenge for today :( ZCC are still playing FHK in a T20, weakened lineup away from home but Grubs and Jalal have still managed a 100 run opening partnership.

@ataraxia good game. Well done!

Burger continuing to be the threat and taking good wickets again. The TMO did not get to the big target put up but did pretty well considering the quality of opposition bowling.

Cheers for game, very impressive win for you. Have been in and out so haven't selected XIs for all my games - did for this one - maybe the team were better off without me :laugh:

@cnerd123 Based on my calculations it seems that higher divisions get around a dollar more per seat. Also the different formats SOD/T20/Dev get a decreasing amount per seat. Cup we got the same per seat. I don't think popularity contributes to seat price, just number of seats sold.
