@cnerd123 not to be pessimistic but not happening!

Having now lost in the Cup it is just down to trying to get the right players max experience for rest of season (with no injuries!).

Sanjeewa Samaranayake has set TMO on course for an upset here! Hope they see it through.

ZCC with a tricky runchase, need a solid start. Morpork have #RunsOnTheBoard but need early wickets.

And TMOs lose on a wide and a fumble...

If the IGT means anything for experience, with the number of close matches that the TMO players have been in this week they should all be getting a bump on Thursday!? Burger sill bowling beautifully and still unable to buy a wicket!

Great effort by TMO, yea hopefully it reflects on Thursday's training pops!

ZCC's batting has failed to deliver today :( Need a miracle from Ahsan and the tail to see us through. Think this is done otherwise.

Morpork enroute a crushing win here.

So ZCC are fielding two different XIs today! We have a 22 player squad now, so 11 of them will play FHK in a OD game, followed by the other 11 in a T20 vs Honest Hunks game. Both away from home.

FHK have just won the toss and will bat first. They're almost full strength - Nam and Spavor out, Li and Wong in.

That man Shahbaz Furqan again. Hammers 122* off 110 as ZCC chase down 238 to win with 10 overs to spare. LOY with 7-0-56-1 :(

Some positives in the batting for FHK - Chow and Law fifties opening the batting, nice 42 for Chung. But the middle order was torn apart by Tim Chester, 10-0-39-5. Sajith D Estandau was runout early, but Furqan took charge of the chase and received enough support from De Mehlo and Ahsan to get the job done.

Both teams hit exactly 51k on the ratings. Perfectly matched!

54k is lower than my normal ratings! The other lineup scored 51k.

Will obviously need to ensure a fairer balance of talent for the SOD game on Thursday.

We are into the final week of the BD YP competition, and here are the current winners:

Best Wicketkeeper - highest total Wicketkeeping + Batting potentials, with a minimum of 12 keeping potential
Mustafa Hashim (West Row Wyverns) - Total 61 potential (46 bat + 15 keep)

Best Allrounder - highest total Batting + Bowling potentials, with a minimum of 38 total potential in each discipline
Ahsan Hafeez (GG CC) - Total 82 potential (40 bat + 42 bwl)

Best Batter - highest total Batting potentials
Minesh Rana (Bowled Over) - total 42 potential

Best Bowler - highest total Bowling potentials
Aslam Majid (Omkar Cricket Club) - total 44 potential

Worst Youth Pull - lowest total potential of all skills combined
Chris Kumbla (Setemares) - Total 55 potential

Mustafa Hashim is now the best wicketkeeping prospect, which means Aslam Majid can now win the best bowling award for Omkar CC. Ahsan Hafeez is still the only all-round candidate, and Minesh Rana is the best batter from a club that is not already winning an award. Chris Kumbla a late but worth entry for Worst YP!

Outside of these 5 teams, we have had another 10 teams enter the competition, with a total of 30 entries between. All these will go straight into the lucky draw.

The last week is tomorrow, so make sure to get your entry in! Winners will be announced over the weekend

Very raw so far....but it seems like he enjoys batting more than bowling.

Wow, odd T20 vs Schmaltzberg. 89 all out surely shouldn't have been enough, but 6-13 and a run out by Jasper Davey gifted me a 6-run win. That is the best bowling analysis in 155 games for the club, in a T20 no less. It beats out Juan Goliath 6-19 against @Marcuss way back in April, and recently transferred Afzal Mohiuddin got 6-20 against @StephenZA about a month ago.

Well, my Banglas have really turned out to be a load of spuds, sadly. 38 pot spinner here, but not really good enough. Ah well. I'll go back to pulling New Zealand next week, at least for a little bit, and see if my fortunes change. :)

It's back to normal now at the Basin, with a bot bash taking place.

20 runs in first over against the TMOs... not a good start.
