Atleast IND have won a Test series, ODI series and T20 series in NZ in last 12 yearsah yes, peak indian batting and zaheer won 1-0 against daniel flynn, jeetan patel and james franklin on motorways before scraping past the same side 1-0 in india. you must be so proud. much chest beat, so tough
There was that one test where NZ had India 65-6 in the second innings which Harbhajan walking in.NZ were actually very respectable in India during the Fleming and Vettori eras (1999-2010), several hard-fought draws there and a few in which they gave India a scare. Since then then it’s been one way traffic save for that Bangalore test in which Southee took a seven wicket haul.
For once I remember in 2014 you guys were very lucky coz India could've won both games.. One time they also almost chased 400 odd.. Falling short by 40 odd runs. In 2009 we won.. NZ were clearly better side in 2020 series.. Even then Christchurch game India had its moments & took a 1st inns lead.In the past 40 years the home:away record of the two teams is very similar. India with a slight edge in that they've been a bit more likely to scrape their way to draws.
NZ in India: played 19, won 1, lost 10, drawn 8
India in NZ: played 16, won 1, lost 7, drawn 8
What are you hovelling about?Yeah it owns (posted from my 500 dollar a week 1 room hovel)
Guaranteed in the UK?Poinless trash talking aside, game is still a long way away to come to any conclusions. I do feel the 6 days may feel like too many, lol. Do not see the game going beyond 4 days either way and draw is mostly not a possibility unless we get **** weather.
But.................... June?Guaranteed in the UK?
It can be argued that Australia is #2 given their record over NZ (wins both home and away) and that NZ hasn't played the best of teams, while Australia doesn't even bother playing the likes of WI and BAN
Uh, we're right there, next to every good post you've ever made. Can someone find me NZ here.I can't find them.

Well, a couple of things - if you insist NZ were lucky in 2014 ‘cause India got close, you’d better factor in Bangalore 2012 then too which India won by 5 wickets, India were 5 down with 95 needed and one wicket to the tail. As for 2009, that was pretty much a full strength India with a number of veterans versus a side which was starting from scratch thanks to ICL enforced bans and retirements, on pitches which were essentially made to order for India. Decent enough achievement but I don’t think it necessarily strengthens the conviction that India compete that much better. For once I remember in 2014 you guys were very lucky coz India could've won both games.. Overall India has competed better in NZ compared to what we see in India.
NZ also has never won an white ball leg here.
That 2014 series Could've been 2-0 white wash for India.. 1st test almost 400 was chased & in the 2nd game Brendon got dropped as we were about to wrap things up & then he scored a triple ton & Match ended in a draw. Overall quite a close series... Which we haven't seen with NZ for sometime.Well, a couple of things - if you insist NZ were lucky in 2014 ‘cause India got close, you’d better factor in Bangalore 2012 then too which India won by 5 wickets, India were 5 down with 95 needed and one wicket to the tail.
