The Inaugural World Test Championship

Whatever it takes!!!
TBH, his point is fair in a way. While KJ has been awesome, Boult is all class and has proven himself over a period of time. In England with the Dukes he should be a handful.

Rose bowl has been on the slower side as we witnessed in 2018 & also when West Indies toured England last year. I'd say advantage India. Both our Spinners Jadeja & Ash can play. Ideally this lineup
Rohit
Gill
Pujara
Kohli
Sundar
Pant
Jadeja
Ashwin
Ishant
Siraj (I reckon he'll be more effective than Shami who struggles in England)
Bumrah
Really important NZ's bats first and bats big (600+). Conway to get his immigration paperwork sorted and to score a triple hundred on debut (give Will Young the England tests). With the move from Lords NZ needs a spin option - so CDG and Mitchell miss out.

Sundar at 5???

I know he looks promising , but...

Also Rahane is India's best slip fielder
Dude has better Technique than most of our batters offers left right combo in middle order. We saw how it worked well in Australia. Left handers averaged 50+ in comparison to 27 odd in right handers over a span of two series in 2018 & 2020/21

Quite frankly I don't see NZ getting anywhere close to this.. But rest assured if NZ win toss & post 350+ in a final they'll win. But that's the thing Indian bowling won't make it easy for them. Same goes for Indian batting & NZ bowling. Expecting a low scoring finale.

Yeah but Sundar-Pant-Jadeja are 3 left handers and Jamieson loves bowling to lefthanders. The 2 Indian openers will nick out early so Pujara, Kohli, and Ashwin will have to score all the runs

Rahane Pujara are both going through a lean patch.. I'd back a promising in form youngster over those two easily. Sundar has opened in U19 WC & Ashwin also said he is a opener by default. So it won't be a bad idea to let him open to counter boult & shift Gill to middle order who is struggling atm. Solves a lot of our problems.

Yes.
Let the fan war begin.
I feel playing with NZ is like fighting woman. If you win , you get no pleasure because they are a small nation of 5 million population but if you lose , you feel embarrassed.
@Flem274* your move.?
Haha, you're like Peter Plumley Walker lately then. Look it up.
