nah if we get shot out for 14 and cop the glee of the entire planet for daring to leave our perceived place i'll be too stubborn to leave for at least 6 months. i didn't sit through 2008-2012, the past two tours of aus and the english world cup theft to back down to the latest dregs.

i can and will spam that airport episode and footage of ganguly trying to bat in nz for 50k more posts if i have to.
Man you guys are going to get thrashed this time.. You had enough luck with tosses when we were in NZ. We should've won that 2nd Christchurch test Jameison saved you guys with those handy runs down the order. Your luck will finally ran out. It won't be pretty at all in Rose bowl.

Yes.
Let the fan war begin.
I feel playing with NZ is like fighting woman. If you win , you get no pleasure because they are a small nation of 5 million population but if you lose , you feel embarrassed.
@Flem274* your move.?

hell yeah.. The series could've easily been tied 1-1.. If we had won even one toss. I remember we took a lead in 1st inns in Christchurch it should have been 50+ if not for Jamieson. That test was very even stevens despite NZ winning the toss. No team came close to beating NZ other than India.
We are favorites in Rose bowl.

Monga on cricinfo has already inoculated us against any adverse result in WTC final saying India are by far the best test team around. I agree.

Would that be the match were India followed NZ's 1st innings effort with a score of 190, or the match where they followed NZ's 1st innings effort with a score of 130?

Rose bowl has been on the slower side as we witnessed in 2018 & also when West Indies toured England last year. I'd say advantage India. Both our Spinners Jadeja & Ash can play. Ideally this lineup
Rohit
Gill
Pujara
Kohli
Sundar
Pant
Jadeja
Ashwin
Ishant
Siraj (I reckon he'll be more effective than Shami who struggles in England)
Bumrah

there's a lot of evidence being posted above by rando Indians that India can't win a series if Jamieson plays, good stuff.
There's something called novelty factor.. They'd see enough of him in IPl & then come prepared. I'd be more worried about Boult than Jamieson tbh

test Jamieson is a totally different beast to t20 Jamieson
Let's see what Jamieson does outside NZ.. I too think he'll do well but it is far fetched to think he will run through Indians.. Especially in Rose bowl. Boult with his left arm angle &, swing can expose techniques & Indian batters don't like facing him even in T20 as we have seen in IPl.

Yes because we all know that performances in tests and T20's are interchangeable, as shown by Jamieson's efforts in the recent T20 series v Australia.
