Whenever I see the Lions team I wish to see Mulder there scoring runs and taking wickets. That Lions team seems all over the place.
Marcello ?Just for KP. I notice that Hardus is taking wickets again, I am sure he is bowling mid 120 full balls. Nobody with pace bouncing players here in SA.
Oh and Piedt opening the bowling at Centurion?
Yeah, my bad. Wrong Piedt. Just saw the surname and that Viljoen was bowling first change. Don't think it is even the right team!Marcello ?
You actually got me confused myself talking about the wickets can't be that used in Jan and then double checked.Yeah, my bad. Wrong Piedt. Just saw the surname and that Viljoen was bowling first change. Don't think it is even the right team!
A year in club cricket in England to help work on his technique against the moving ball ?Been keeping an eye on Qeshile this season to see if I can detect why he is failing to get to his 100s. He seems to do his best when coming in and the team is in trouble. And the other thing is he seems to score in bursts, not consistently tick over. I mention this because quite often he tends to lose his wicket after the 2nd new ball is taken. If he comes in 'earlier' with the ball 30 overs old he tends to score some runs, but when the 2nd new ball comes along he tends to get out for these 30 to 60 scores. Now that is understandable, new ball is difficult, except he does it all the time and this makes me think he really struggles against the moving ball to so consistently get out, after his eye is meant to be in. Combine that with a struggle to rotate, only scoring runs in bursts and you can see how he is struggling to get to the 100 mark but scoring lots of 50's. But those two issues seem very fundamental for a man we hope can make it to Test level. He is only 20 so hopefully he can get it sorted, sooner rather than later.
It was all pure speculation. .. but probably be good for him, stints in county cricket are always good for player development.A year in club cricket in England to help work on his technique against the moving ball ?
Was thinking more of a top club side playing in a Premier League if he couldn’t get a county contract as an overseas player. It was all pure speculation. .. but probably be good for him, stints in county cricket are always good for player development.

It will still take him 3 years to qualify. Based on the new rules that allowed Archer to play for England.Bedingham's only signed a one year deal, so I suppose it's not impossible that he might come back. But he's gone over on an ancestral visa rather than Kolpak, which may make it easier for him to qualify for England (not really sure how it works), and if it does then the chances of him returning to South Africa probably aren't great.
