Takes longer than the 3 minutes for the 2 12th men to run on with drinks for the bowlers and other bat.Just realised this could get farcical.
I reckon they should give longer for each wicket. Aside from the somewhat variable time for the batsman to get to the wicket - which is a maximum of three minutes to timed out - batsmen seem to spend much longer marking their crease than they used to. Either that or they get the third or fourth umpire to actually time it.
He left that to look after his wife iirc.Wait, is Strauss commentating? Doesn't he have, like, another job? That made him give up commentating in the first place?
IIRC he gave that up after his wife died (or was dying of cancer).Wait, is Strauss commentating? Doesn't he have, like, another job? That made him give up commentating in the first place?
Ahh okay.He left that to look after his wife iirc.
That too.Takes longer than the 3 minutes for the 2 12th men to run on with drinks for the bowlers and other bat.
The frightening thing is that Dharmasena is not umpiring. So that's, what, three umpiring mistakes in 70 minutes?
I never shut up about how much I hate video technology in the footy thread but I'm really glad for it in cricket. So that's, what, three umpiring mistakes in 70 minutes?
