No way should Marnus bat ahead of Smith, but yeah. Harris is definitely a better option than Bancroft.

In any case with Harris it feels like we're talking him down based on one bad Test...which could happen to anyone. Apart from that he did fine.

I was heavily backing Bancroft for the spot but after seeing that innings I think I was wrong. Harris would probably be better

Pakistan did OK in 2016 but they got some fairly dry pitches that year IIRC. India sucked balls last year and SA before that weren't much better.

Just realised this could get farcical.

I reckon they should give longer for each wicket. Aside from the somewhat variable time for the batsman to get to the wicket - which is a maximum of three minutes to timed out - batsmen seem to spend much longer marking their crease than they used to. Either that or they get the third or fourth umpire to actually time it.

Kohli is popular with the ladies but he oozes douche from every pore, Pujara is cute^TM but has nightmarish acne issues, Ishant was the ugliest cricketer in the world even before he got his man bun, bhuvi looks stoned, Ashwin is basically a middle aged software engineer who's had too many of Amma's idlis, Kuldeep's ugliness has been covered well in previous posts by Shri, and the rest of them have those hideous wannabe kohli beards. 2/10 at best
