Only way a wicket was going to fall....

Faheem Ashraf better be a batting all-rounder.

How this attack is missing Shaheen.

Amir has been good this tour. We know Abbas is quality. Hasn't really ripped through so far like he did against Australia but we can cut him some slack since he's returning from injury.

Just think Pakistan are lacking height and bounce Shaheen brought. I think you know what you getting with Amir & Abbas. Not sure Hasan Ali & Faheem Ashraf adds much to balance the attack.

Shadab Khan is my favourite Pakistan cricketer. Think he has the tools for world wide and he could enjoy this pitch. A good wrist-spinners one over a finger-spinner.

Pakistan have clawed their way back into this. Let's see what Hamza the swan, can do.

There's a bit of purchase for the spinner. Maharaj,, Maharaj, my kingdom for a Maharaj.

Should have played him here that is why I put the elite fast bowling group thing up on previous page.

Just hope Kesh isn't neglected. Saying that I only think Kesh would be a big threat 2nd innings where I think Shadab could get a few first innings. Kesh more a side spinner and I think this is more an over-spinners wicket ?

Yeah as long as it doesn't flatten out too much on Days 2-3 as can happen at times in SA when it starts like this then it's great.
I don't even it mind it getting a little flatter on Day 2/3, pitches are meant to do that, so long as it deteriorates on Day 4/5

Yes. Maharaj would be missed if Pakistan bat reasonably well and the quicks have to bowl for long periods. .

Hundreds have just dried up for Amla. Considering what a prolific scorer he was at his peak, it shows what a huge difference a tiny drop in hand-eye coordination due to age can make.
