It's team chemistry (or lack of) that's hampering them
Global warmingThere was a lot of reverse swing on offer in the last Ashes from both sides - England and Australia. It is funny that there's been no mention of reverse swing all series, post sandpapergate.

It was **** in the UAE save for one dig. Bit taking anythjngaway from India’s bowling, which has been excellent and preyed onthat weaknessTo me, it's only a coincidence our batting turned bad just when India's bowlers became unstoppable. I see no issue really.
Pitch it up on a flat track to blokes who prop on the front dog for a crust? You’ve not played much cricket have you?Pitch it up..
An extra day and two-thirds rest for the Indian bowlers will a huge advatange in the context of this match. Here's a fun fact - India bowled 579 overs in the first three Tests, while Australia bowled 565.
India has actually spent more time in the field this series. Difference being, India have utilised more bowlers.
Nathan Lyon has had a massive workload - 213.5 overs so far and counting. The next highest has been 137 from Hazlewood. Bumrah has bowled 136 overs in just the first 3 Tests alone - the man's a freak.
I have.Pitch it up on a flat track to blokes who prop on the front dog for a crust? You’ve not played much cricket have you?
That’s an interesting approach, because in Melbourne they were 2/ nearly 300 and everyone was saying they bowled well. There’s just no point floating up half volleys when it’s not doing anything.I think when a side is 4/300, it's a clear sign they've been poor. Seems more of a fatigue though.
Hobbs in 1911/12 and Hammond in 1928/29 is the full list. Quite a few have come close but it's ultimately more of a rarity that a touring side wins 3 games in Australia than a batsman hits 3 great tons.Has there been any visiting batsman in history who scored 3 centuries in 3 different test matches in the same series in Australia all for winning causes?
Off at least 30 more overs though. That’s an interesting approach, because in Melbourne they were 2/ nearly 300 and everyone was saying they bowled well. There’s just no point floating up half volleys when it’s not doing anything.
The only time he’s looked like getting out for a month is when he’s gloving Lyon or gloving short ones, because he fends at them away from his body. But sure, let’s run with the bowling machine half volley approach.I have.
You've got to at least try something. Bowling the same length with the same fields all day to a guy who hasn't looked like getting out in a month isn't exactly sound planning. Whether or not it works doesn't really matter, if your plan isn't working don't just let the ship sink.
Yeah on a bigger outfield which was miles slower.Off at least 30 more overs though.
"Pitching up" doesn't mean half-volleys, and you know that. The stumps were out of play for 75% of play today, at some point you've got to at least try to make them a threat. The only time he’s looked like getting out for a month is when he’s gloving Lyon or gloving short ones, because he tends at them away from his body. But sure, let’s run with the bowling machine half volley approach.
Also no sandpaper on hand. Duhbecause the pitches have been completely different
reverse swing is not something that just happens on demand, the pitches have been grassy (even melbourne) and not at all abrasive. ergo, no reverse.
Agarwal has been solid for a few years, but only recently had a few breakthrough seasons and performances. Actually a bit of a surprise how well he's acquitted himself here.Well played India and Pujara. Looks nailed on now they will win their first series in Australia. Watched the opening session and was very impressed by Agarwal, nearly 28 so is he a late improver or just never been thought good enough?
The Aussie team selection really smacks of we are just fudging it till the bans are over then they return and all will be well.
