Meh, if he was repeatedly called he may have got that second lbw without overstepping.

Or he'd have taken 5 wickets in those 16 extra balls

Who knows really
He probably would've adjusted his run up and not overstepped anywhere near as much if they'd been calling it consistently. Its annoying as **** for both teams.

What are the chances of other bowlers no-balls going unnoticed if Ishant alone overstepped undetected 16 times? Quite high. The umpires should be docked part of their match fees.

It amazes me that bowlers can flirt so closely with the front line in tests, yet never go near the ****ing thing in LO matches.

Might need a free hit playing condition in tests to stop them from pushing it. Starc, for example, is usually a long way from no-balling. A lot of other blokes are too. It's pretty unprofessinoal from Sharma to be consistently that close to the line tbh.

Woah there, they were fantastic in many other aspects besides decision making. The finesse with which Dharmasena flicks the bails off at the close of play is unmatched.

Predict the margin of Australian defeat in 2nd test

The lively pitch will backfire on Aussies and bumrah and co will blow them away.Batting will be more difficult ,but India will outbat Aussies by a mile.

Here are my predictions

Aus 45 all out (6 wickets for bumrah)
India 285 all out (100 or more for Kohli)
Aus 175 all out( some resistance from hanscomb,Cummins)
Tim Paine would retire hurt with broken finger and starc will be limping with strain

Surely India can’t seriously consider the notion of going into this Perth Test with anything less than six specialist batsmen ? With Pant exciting everyone but not providing that consistency at seven he would surely be too big a risk to provide the solidity required at six ?

On a Perth pitch that looks like it’s going to provide plenty of excitement and encouragement to the superb Aussie attack, India need to pack their line-up with as many of their better specialist batsmen as they can muster.

So in my eyes, Hanuma Vihari comes straight in as a like-for-like for Rohit, and then a tougher decision is whether the visitors go with an all-seam attack or prefer the security of including a spinner in Jadeja just in case with the hot weather around it does offer some turn aswell, maybe later in the Test.

Kohli opted for an all seam-attack in Johannesburg earlier this year, so Bhuvneshwar or Yadav face off for that final spot. I’d expect Bhuvi to offer a more dangerous threat with the new ball (and of course is a more superior bat), with Yadav being more of a threat with the older ball and when it goes flat he could be used for those short, sharp spells of hostile bowling. Tough selection this, but with Ishant, Bumrah and Shami it’s already a long tail so I expect Bhuvi to get the nod if they want another pace man in.

Lol Indian fans here thinking that Jadeja is a worthy substitute for Ashwin. He's going to get flogged left and right. So will Kuldeep tbf.

I think the Aussies will spontaneously combust and **** themselves when Kohli comes out to bat.
