If India go for Umesh he will Lick plenty of runs in the second spell.india should stick with 4 seamerI'd be staggered if the pitch doesn't get a significant mow before the match from that state. Considering India has three bowlers who consistently hit the seam and we only have two (Starc tends to miss it a lot) I doubt a green pitch would advantage us.
What kind of 4d logic is planning to start an innings 20/3?If I have to selects Indian test team I can pick Vihari for #3 and Virat for # 6 beneficial as vihari job isjust stay their and remove shines (cherry) of the ball
Pujara /Rahane 4/5 far better than Kohli at 4 on Perth
The curator will be a sporting doctor. That should answer the question. So Perth pitch will be considered as sporting or doctored ? Just asking because I have read on this forum many times that Australia doesn't doctor wickets.
What, not confident enough in Kohli to survive the newish ball? Thought he was supposed to be the best in the worldIf I have to selects Indian test team I can pick Vihari for #3 and Virat for # 6 beneficial as vihari job isjust stay their and remove shines (cherry) of the ball

technology doesn't exist though :/The ICC have to take their crania out of their recta and do something about this. That's winning runs in a close match.
It is actually a novel idea. In pitches where there is too much juice, Kohli can forego his ego and come at 5 sending Rahane at 4. Pujara and Rahane can blunt the new ball and with the confidence that India's best batsman is yet to come. Kohli can take advantage of it later. Pushing to 6 will be too much though. What, not confident enough in Kohli to survive the newish ball? Thought he was supposed to be the best in the world
If Kohli really is the best, he should be able to deal with a pitch with a bit of juice in it. To protect him down the order would be a coward move.It is actually a novel idea. Yeah agreed. Kohli can deal with it, he's no Clarke. If Kohli really is the best, he should be able to deal with a pitch with a bit of juice in it. To protect him down the order would be a coward move.
If he'd bowled that ball from behind the line, Lyon would have middled it (and the other 15 as well) through mid wicket for four, thereby giving Australia a comfortable win. You know it. Ishant knows it. Kohli knows it. India knows it. The ICC knows it (but wants India to win anyway). The whole world knows it. #cheatingindiansMeh, if he was repeatedly called he may have got that second lbw without overstepping.
Or he'd have taken 5 wickets in those 16 extra balls
Who knows really
Umesh was the best seamer (better than Starch, Hazz and Cummins) on the last BG Series and took a 10-fer in his last match.Kilowatt
Shami has ability to take wickets, so soon so oftenly
While Umesh most time remains wicket less
