All over in Canberra. Lyon 5 fer, Haze 4.

Meanwhile, Wil Bosito no doubt catching JL's eye with 45* vs SA.

Highly decorated and revered Australian test captain Tim Paine making a Langer-loving 30* here.

Meanwhile, the expendable-according-to-Bambino Haze has 4-30 from 18 overs.
TBF I think Bambino only advocated dropping him for Pattinson.

Problem with Patto is that he really hasn't had enough bowling in his legs.

In any case, he should come in for Starc, not Hazlewood.

FFS get spud Holland off and bowl Patto. I want to see how he looks before he inevitably breaks down again.

If Patto plays in the near future it needs to be in a side with 5 bowlers, really.

And tbh I don't think Starc should be a lock for the Aus team at all, in any format. Bloke needs to go back to NSW, learn to swing the ball again, and most importantly actually take wickets again.

No wonder people don't turn up to watch FC cricket.

Who wants to watch a couple of **** house finger spinners twirl away when there's blokes on the field who can bowl genuine heat? Spin should always just be an after thought, never used as a front line option. I'd love to head up the ICC and just ban it from ever bowling more than six overs a day. it's as boring as bat ****.

Imagine being Victorian (horrible, I know) skipper and thinking "I've got Tremain,Patto and Boland here, along with renowned test medium pacer Peter Siddle; but I'll give the people what they want - finger spin from both ends." You'd just have to be a ****, wouldn't you?

No wonder they're all Lattes and smashed avocado ****wits down there. Bring the heat ffs.

Tassie lead up to nearly 200 and patto still only bowled 12 overs. Has anyone heard if he's ok to bowl?

I don't know how you figure that out, when the quicks rolled the other mob for 80 in the first dig, while the spinners bowling more in the second has led to hem making 400.

Finger spinners: 2/40, average = 20
Seam bowlers: 5/350, average = 70

pretty standard mathematics tbh
