Yasir Shah's obviously jealous of ML. Can't stand being the 2nd best leggie in the Test match imo.

Think Fakhar and Sarfraz have bailed Pakistan out here. Pretty good recovery and Australia will have to bat well.

Don't think Pakistan have put enough on the board. If they bat sensibly, Australia should get a handy first innings lead here.

From a Pakistan point of view they would have liked to get over 300, just from a psychological point of view, but done pretty well considering the mess they got themselves into. I have no idea how Aus are going to fair on this, definite turn but no real demons. But the Aus current notoriety against spin is unpredictable.

Are you on a time delay?

Yeah I wasn't serious. He's just been lucky. He averages 50+ in FC cricket for a reason.
It’s because he has to bowl to Australian batsmen in domestic cricket, who are world renowned players of spin bowling.

50 wickets from him in 10 games ftr. Waqar, Asif and Shabbir were the other Pakistanis to do it in 10 while Yasir was the quickest at 9.

Pretty excellent recovery from Pakistan. At least one of the wickets we lost was the nightwatchman.

Still say their score is quite a bit below par, though.

Don’t really see what Holland offers to make him a viable Test bowler in his matches to date. Isn’t accurate enough for a left-arm offie and while he throws the ball up a bit, doesn’t seem able to deceive many bats in flight and largely relies on them trying to hit him out of the park.

He has been, by a wide margin, the best state level spinner in Australian cricket for the last few years.

The cupboard is bare. Pope is making his debut at the moment and the heirarchy hopes he'll be Lyon's replacement. But he's a leggie and there have been about 3863 "next Shane Warne" type players come through over the years and none have lived up to the hype.

Yeah, I don't really rate Holland all that much. Just doesn't look to have enough tools to be an effective weapon the majority of the time. Felt Marnus was more dangerous.

I don't know if Agar would be the better bowler, but he'd be the better package.
