I was surprised Queensland actually selected him after how putrid he looked in the Under 19 World Cup, but it's definitely paid off so far. He seems to have decided early on that he wants to eye off a career as a slogging white ball opener.

I was surprised Queensland actually selected him after how putrid he looked in the Under 19 World Cup, but it's definitely paid off so far. He seems to have decided early on that he wants to eye off a career as a slogging white ball opener.

It feels like he'd be worked out pretty quickly though. Has a lot of developing to do against the straighter ball and spin but something about him reminds me a bit of Arun.

The challenge with Bryant is for him to tighten up his technique somewhat without losing his natural ball striking ability. I too think he has a hint of young Arun about him.

I'm not watching the games either but following the matches on cricinfo. Edwards seems to be killing it.
