I wouldn't mind a meme engine room ODI lower order of Valente and Sams tbh. Throwbacks to the Ian Harvey days.

That dismissal was predictable. Ross was totally set up buy those short balls. No footwork at all.

When will nsw finally bite the bullet and install the rightful heir to Nev’s spot into the one day and a Shield sides? Lenton continues to disappoint while #Bertmentum waits in the wings.
I meant to post about this before but me dying over the weekend got in the way. The Larkin and Lenton selections are very disappointing simply because they've already failed, and while I'm usually a supporter of backing proven grade players to repeat their success if given enough opportunity, these guys are like almost 30 already and NSW hasn't really threatened to produce an international level cricketer for like 4 years now and we're giving games to Lenton and Larkin?

also the NSW CEO made some references to "merit based selection" on his twitter the other week and i thought i was going crazy

I don't think Larkin actually has a particularly great record in the limited overs stuff in first grade anyway. Fair enough giving him a longer run in the Shield, but it's weird how long of a rope he's getting in these one day games, especially down at five of all things.

This brings me back to my youth. Trying to spot the ball over the fence before you jump into the cranky neighbour's yard to recover it.

Kuhnemann following in the O'Keefe tradition of deceiving the batsmen with balls that do nothing.
