A very simple point really - that you're a biased and blind fan who makes convenient excuses like "they were checked out" after their team receives a thrashing.
M8 I'm not just talking about your last post, you've come in here with seemingly no motive or point other than "haha Australia suck they lose"A very simple point really - that you're a biased and blind fan who makes convenient excuses like "they were checked out" after their team receives a thrashing.
Just like your postsA very simple point really - that you're a biased and blind fan who makes convenient excuses like "they were checked out" after their team receives a thrashing.
Would rather watch ***** and the HK T20 Incel XI than a rugby match tbh.Not too many people care that much about this series but obviously we'd rather win than lose.
Honestly last night my care factor for sport at around 8pm last night in order was: 1. Australia vs France (football), 2. Broncos vs Sharks (league), 3. Australia vs Ireland (Rugby) and in fourth place this second ODI.
With 6 of our best players unavailable this series it is just helping us work out for the most part who shouldn't be part of our best XI. You look at Short, Stoinis, Maxwell, Agar, Head all in the same XI - you'd think a maximum of 3 (with MMarsh added to that group) would actually make a World Cup XI.
League is rugby you knowWould rather watch ***** and the HK T20 Incel XI than a rugby match tbh.
No no, very different. Rugby makes people laugh, rugby league makes people smile.League is rugby you know
Whomever did the scheduling obviously didnt care whether Australians watched or not as it was up against the Socceroos in the WC, Wallaby test, AFL & NRLI am perhaps kicking my own country in the bollocks here but why do you Aussies care? You have the Ashes. Six billion ODI wins does not equate one paltry run in an Ashes test. These truly are the most pointless cricket matches, a mark of which is that I am watching the FIFA World Cup (a sport I usually don't like) instead.
Might of been deliberately scheduled that way out of sympathy for Australian cricket fans.Whomever did the scheduling obviously didnt care whether Australians watched or not as it was up against the Socceroos in the WC, Wallaby test, AFL & NRL
I turned it off when I saw that we were bowling and Stanlake wasn't playing
Anyway, if Paine must play, make him open an anywhere else he clogs up the batting and he's had success there before
You already have 4 openers excluding the bloke banned for cheating thoughAnyway, if Paine must play, make him open an anywhere else he clogs up the batting and he's had success there before
That might explain why Tye tried to take Paine's head off Lillee style last night. But Tim Paine is the golden boy who will change Australian cricket forever and make us real nice people.
Steve Smith in ODI - 82 SR in 2017 - in 2018 -SR 69. 69 - THAT'S LIKE THE 1980'S.I'm not really that concerned at all, the Aussie ODI "slump" is being made out to be a much bigger deal than it is. Of every series loss over the last year or so only 1 had anything close to a full strength side. The biggest issue is most have just been ****, weakened sides. The main thing they need is consistency. It's hard when your frontline bowlers are "injured"/rested more often than not, and you decide to ban your best batsmen but most of it they've brought on themselves. Aussie ODI selection over the last few years has been bonkers. Probably more than half the domestic players in the country have been given a debut at some stage.
If they get Starc, Hazlewood, Cummins, Smith, Warner (and M Marsh I guess?) all together or at least something resembling a full-strength side and start losing a few series on the trot, then I'll be worried
Aus need to start taking bilateral ODIs more seriously. They seem to "rest" players more than anyone else. If the new ODI championship thing goes through it should help.I seem to remember a year out from the last World Cup that Australia was looking awful. This is the time to be preparing for the only ODI tournament that matters. And despite England playing at home and having a decent ODI side for the first time in forever I just can't see them winning next year. They'll have a repeat of the Champion's Trophy and lose to a team that peaks at the right time.
Did you even watch what happened earlier this year?Steve Smith in ODI - SR in 2017 - 82 SR in 2018 - 69.
England will serve flat pitches in the WC - he won't be solving the problem Australia has on flat pitches. Nor has Mitch Marsh as yet.
Warner may a bit. But not enough imo to close the gap on the top teams.
